Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Security & Sentinel Engineer with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Policy-as-Code (PaC), Sentinel, Terraform, CNAPP, and Oracle Cloud Security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing secure cloud architectures, developing policy automation frameworks, enforcing cloud governance standards, and strengthening the organization's cloud security posture.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud security services, cloud-native security controls, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and cloud monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Develop and manage Policy-as-Code (PaC) frameworks using Sentinel and cloud-native policy engines.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Implement cloud security guardrails and compliance controls across OCI workloads.
• Collaborate with CNAPP teams to enforce secure-by-default cloud configurations.
• Secure Oracle PaaS services, ensuring proper workload isolation, network security, and policy enforcement.
• Configure and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), VCN/VPC security, cloud logging, compute, and storage services.
• Support Oracle HCM security configurations and role-based access controls.
• Monitor and investigate cloud security events, logs, and metrics.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and security-related issues, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
• Design highly available and secure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise security standards.
• Support cloud governance, risk, compliance, and security audit initiatives.
• Develop automation solutions and security tooling using Java, Python, or Go.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Cloud Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong knowledge of IAM, VPC/VCN, Cloud Logging, Storage, Compute, and Security Controls.
• Experience implementing Policy-as-Code solutions using Sentinel.
• Strong Terraform experience for cloud infrastructure automation.
• Experience working with CNAPP platforms and cloud governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of Oracle PaaS security and cloud-native security architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and security issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud security configurations.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Cloud Security certifications (OCI, CISSP, CCSP, Terraform Associate, etc.).
• Experience implementing enterprise cloud security standards and compliance frameworks.
