We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead with strong full-stack development expertise to lead enterprise application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS cloud-native development, DevOps, and modern application architecture.

This is a highly technical leadership role requiring both architectural decision-making and hands-on coding. The candidate will lead development teams, define scalable application architecture, and drive delivery of high-performance, cloud-native enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers (typically 5+ engineers).
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, architecture principles, and development best practices.
• Provide technical direction, implementation guidance, and design leadership.
• Support technical decision-making across architecture, development, and deployment.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple engineering workstreams.

Full Stack Development

• Hands-on development using:
• Java
• Spring Boot

• Design and develop scalable, high-volume, low-latency enterprise applications.
• Build efficient, testable, and maintainable production-grade code.
• Oversee unit testing, code quality, and implementation standards.

API & Backend Engineering

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build secure, scalable service integrations.
• Support microservices and distributed application architectures.

AWS Cloud Engineering

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services including:

• EC2
• S3
• Lambda
• DynamoDB
• API Gateway
• CloudFormation
• CloudWatch
• ECS
• EKS
• Fargate
• X-Ray
• IAM
• KMS
• CloudTrail
• Step Functions
• EBS

Serverless & Cloud Architecture

• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Design cloud-native architecture for scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Build highly available cloud-hosted enterprise solutions.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

DevOps / CI-CD Engineering

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:

• AWS CodePipeline
• AWS CodeBuild
• AWS CodeDeploy
• DevOps automation tooling

Responsibilities include:

• Automated deployments
• Build automation
• Release orchestration
• Infrastructure automation
• Environment promotion

Monitoring & Production Support

• Monitor application health and performance using AWS monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Improve observability, reliability, and operational stability.

Security & Infrastructure Governance

• Implement AWS security best practices including:
• IAM
• Encryption (KMS)
• CloudTrail governance
• Secure cloud deployment patterns
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
