Job Title: Oracle FCCS Developer
Location: Stamford, CT / Remote
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle FCCS Developer to lead the implementation, enhancement, support, and optimization of Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, financial consolidation, financial close processes, business rule development, and Oracle Financials Cloud integration.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to configure FCCS applications, automate financial close processes, develop integrations, and deliver scalable reporting solutions that support enterprise financial consolidation and regulatory reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle FCCS Development & Implementation
- Lead the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and support of Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).
- Configure and maintain FCCS applications based on business and financial reporting requirements.
- Design and implement consolidation rules, ownership management, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, journals, and allocation processes.
- Develop and maintain enterprise financial consolidation solutions using Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, and production deployments.
Financial Close & Consolidation
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
- Ensure accurate financial consolidation, eliminations, and reporting.
- Configure consolidation workflows and close management processes.
- Develop automated financial close solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot consolidation and financial reporting issues.
Business Rules & Automation
- Develop and maintain business rules using Oracle FCCS Calculation Manager.
- Build automation solutions using:
- Groovy Business Rules
- EPM Automate
- Develop calculation scripts and automation workflows.
- Optimize business rules for performance and maintainability.
- Automate administrative and operational processes within Oracle EPM Cloud.
Integration & Data Management
- Design and develop integrations between Oracle FCCS, Oracle ERP/GL, and other Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
- Configure and support Oracle Data Integration and Data Management processes.
- Manage metadata using Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
- Support data loading, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop Financial Reports using Oracle Financial Reporting.
- Create Smart View templates for finance users.
- Design dashboards and management reporting solutions.
- Support executive financial reporting and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Optimize reporting performance and usability.
Production Support
- Troubleshoot application, data, metadata, consolidation, and reporting issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions.
- Monitor application performance and system health.
- Support production incidents and provide timely issue resolution.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support when necessary.
Business Analysis & Collaboration
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to improve consolidation and reporting processes.
- Participate in design sessions, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in Oracle FCCS and Oracle EPM Cloud development.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).
- Experience configuring:
- Financial Consolidation
- Intercompany Eliminations
- Ownership Management
- Currency Translation
- Journals
- Allocations
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud.
- Experience developing:
- Groovy Business Rules
- EPM Automate Scripts
- Calculation Manager Business Rules
- Experience with Oracle Data Management and Data Integration.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation and close processes.
- Experience integrating FCCS with Oracle General Ledger (GL) and ERP systems.
- Strong reporting experience using:
- Oracle Financial Reporting
- Smart View
- Dashboards
- Excellent SQL and data analysis skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion applications.
- Knowledge of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS).
- Experience with Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS).
- Experience in financial systems implementation projects.
- Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP financial reporting.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
