Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in IAM architecture, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), authentication, authorization, federation, cloud identity, and Zero Trust security principles.

The successful candidate will design scalable IAM solutions, integrate enterprise applications with identity platforms, and ensure secure access across cloud and on-premises environments while maintaining compliance with industry security standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

IAM Architecture & Design

• Design and develop enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) architecture aligned with business and cybersecurity objectives.
• Define and implement identity lifecycle management processes, including Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) workflows.
• Architect authentication solutions using Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and passwordless authentication.
• Design authorization models using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
• Develop identity federation solutions using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Design and implement Zero Trust identity security frameworks.

IAM Implementation & Integration

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise IAM platforms, including:
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Okta
• SailPoint
• CyberArk
• Ping Identity
• Integrate IAM platforms with cloud environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Integrate identity services with Active Directory (AD), LDAP, and enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, and Workday.
• Design and implement secure API authentication and identity federation solutions.
• Support hybrid identity and cloud identity transformation initiatives.

Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)

• Design and implement Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) frameworks.
• Develop enterprise role models, access provisioning, and access certification campaigns.
• Implement automated identity lifecycle management and access review processes.
• Support identity governance policies and privileged access management initiatives.
• Improve identity compliance and governance processes across the organization.

Security & Risk Management

• Implement least privilege access and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
• Design secure identity solutions to mitigate identity-based threats and unauthorized access.
• Integrate IAM with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Collaborate with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including CyberArk.
• Conduct identity risk assessments, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise cybersecurity policies and standards.

Governance, Compliance & Audit

• Support regulatory compliance initiatives, including:
• SOX
• GDPR
• HIPAA
• ISO 27001
• Design audit logging, monitoring, reporting, and identity governance controls.
• Support internal and external security audits.
• Develop IAM policies, standards, and security documentation.

Cloud Identity & Security

• Design secure cloud identity architectures for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement Azure RBAC and AWS IAM best practices.
• Support cloud-native authentication and authorization models.
• Secure APIs and cloud workloads using identity-based security controls.
• Drive cloud identity modernization initiatives.

Automation & Development

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Java, or similar technologies.
• Automate identity provisioning, de-provisioning, and governance workflows.
• Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise APIs and automation platforms.
• Improve operational efficiency through scripting and automation.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IAM engineers and security teams.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Compliance, Audit, and Application teams.
• Communicate IAM architecture and security strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging IAM technologies and recommend enterprise security improvements.
• Participate in architecture governance and technology roadmap planning.
