Job Title: Data Engineer – Insurance Domain
Location: New Jersey (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance.
• Support cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, or similar cloud data platforms.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and data warehousing.
• Good understanding of data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience working in the Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Underwriting, or Billing data).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, Apache Spark, or PySpark.
• Knowledge of data governance and CI/CD practices.
• Azure or cloud certifications are a plus.
