Location: Owings Mills, MD (Onsite)

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Advanced Java Concepts and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will lead design and development efforts, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality, scalable enterprise applications within an Agile environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Architect and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Apply advanced Java concepts including multithreading, concurrency, collections framework, JVM tuning, memory management, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and system architecture.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical leadership during incident resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure proper documentation of architecture, design, and development processes.

 

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Core/Advanced Java.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Strong understanding of:
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• RESTful Web Services
• Microservices Architecture
• Exception handling & logging frameworks
• JVM performance tuning
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate/JPA).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
