Title: IAM Consultant

Location: Irvine, CA / San Jose, CA / Colorado Springs, SD

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IAM Consultant to manage, support, and enhance enterprise SSO and authentication platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and seamless authentication services while providing advanced technical support and collaborating with security and engineering teams to strengthen identity governance and access controls.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and support SSO / VIP Authentication Hub and related authentication services to ensure secure and continuous access for enterprise users and applications.
• Provide Level 3 support, including advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex authentication and SSO issues.
• Design, implement, and onboard SSO integrations for new and existing applications, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and maintenance activities to ensure platform stability and security.
• Collaborate closely with security architects, IAM engineers, and application teams to enhance authentication mechanisms and enforce identity governance policies.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, including runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives related to identity and access management services.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and authentication platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SSO technologies and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, MFA).
• Experience supporting VIP Authentication Hub or similar enterprise authentication solutions.
• Proven experience providing L3/L4 support in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with system upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
