Location: Montvale, NJ (Onsite)

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Automation Engineer (PaaS, IaaS & AI Services) with strong hands-on experience in PowerShell, .NET, and Azure Services. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure PaaS and IaaS environments, automation frameworks, AI services, and cloud architecture design. This role requires strong client interaction, solution design capabilities, and the ability to define architectural and coding standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-level and low-level architecture diagrams for Azure-based solutions.
• Provide scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architecture designs.
• Define coding, system design, and architecture standards.
• Collaborate closely with client teams, project teams, and enterprise architects to understand the existing landscape and propose optimized Azure solutions.
• Implement and manage Azure PaaS services including:
• Application Service Environments (ASE)
• Azure SQL Database & SQL Managed Instance
• Azure Databricks
• Synapse Analytics
• Azure Functions
• Logic Apps
• Web Apps
• AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Container Apps
• Azure Container Registry
• Manage Azure IaaS services and networking components.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Azure networking concepts and infrastructure design.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, .NET, or Python.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using BICEP and Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Automate deployment, scaling, monitoring, and security controls.
• Implement Azure authentication and authorization mechanisms including RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals, and secure access control practices.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and governance policies.
• Design and implement solutions using Azure AI Services.
• Work with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric for governance and analytics.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise Azure solutions.
• Conduct detailed requirement analysis and propose scalable Azure-based solutions.
• Provide technical presentations and documentation to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure PaaS and IaaS services.
• Expertise in PowerShell automation and .NET development.
• Experience with Terraform and BICEP for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of Azure Architecture and cloud design best practices.
• Strong understanding of Azure authentication methods and security controls.
• Experience working in client-facing roles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
• Azure AI Engineer Certification (AI-102) – Preferred
