Role: Blue Prism RPA Control Room Analyst / RPA Controller

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Duration: 12+ Months

Work Arrangement: Onsite

 

Description:

 

We are seeking an experienced Blue Prism RPA Control Room Analyst / RPA Controller to support and manage enterprise RPA operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Blue Prism Control Room, Work Queue Management, Incident Management, SQL, Windows Server, IIS, and Microsoft Power Platform. This role is responsible for monitoring bot operations, resolving production issues, performing minor enhancements, and maintaining RPA infrastructure in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in technology, automation, or application support.
  • Experience working as an RPA Controller using Blue Prism, UiPath, or similar RPA platforms.
  • Experience supporting production RPA environments.
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Services

  • Monitor daily operations across Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Platform environments.
  • Ensure bots, workflows, and automation processes run successfully.
  • Continuously monitor:
    • Blue Prism Control Room
    • Work Queues
    • Runtime Resources
    • Power Automate Flows
    • Power Platform Connectors
  • Maintain operational logs and shift handover documentation.

Incident Management & Support

  • Perform first-level triage and troubleshooting of bot failures.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for automation failures.
  • Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams.
  • Implement bug fixes within approved support thresholds.

Automation Enhancements

  • Support minor enhancements to existing Blue Prism processes.
  • Update credentials, queues, and process configurations.
  • Perform minor workflow modifications in Power Automate.
  • Assist in improving automation reliability and efficiency.

Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Execute scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Support Blue Prism application and runtime servers.
  • Ensure patch deployments are properly applied and validated.
  • Perform routine Blue Prism maintenance according to vendor recommendations.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and system availability.

Business & Technical Collaboration

  • Work closely with business users and automation teams.
  • Analyze workflow diagrams and understand business processes.
  • Assist in translating business requirements into automation solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and project activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UiPath or other RPA platforms.
  • Financial Services domain experience.
  • Exposure to Java Spring Boot applications.
  • Blue Prism Certification preferred.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certifications preferred.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
