Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Product Analyst – Payments with deep expertise in the payments domain, strong hands-on experience with SQL/Oracle, and a solid technical understanding of application development and QA processes. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing payment systems, leading deliverables, and supporting troubleshooting activities while collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-depth product and data analysis for payment systems and related applications.
Write, optimize, and execute SQL / Oracle queries for data analysis, reporting, and issue investigation.
Analyze and troubleshoot production and non-production issues using AWS logs, databases, and Splunk.
Work closely with development, QA, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify scope, and resolve defects.
Support and analyze payment processing workflows, with an understanding of ISO wire message formats.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users to ensure accurate solution delivery.
Lead assigned deliverables and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Collaborate effectively with offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience as a Product Analyst / Business Analyst in payments or financial services.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
Solid technical background with exposure to software development and QA processes.
Strong knowledge of the Payments domain, preferably wire payments.
Awareness and understanding of ISO wire message formats.
Experience troubleshooting and analyzing system issues using AWS, Splunk, and database logs.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work independently and lead deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
