Role Summary:
Integration Architect responsible for defining the integration strategy,
designing enterprise integration frameworks, and delivering scalable, secure,
and reusable integration solutions. This role requires strong stakeholder
collaboration, architecture ownership, governance compliance, and technical
leadership across complex system integrations.
Core Technical Competencies:
- Enterprise integration architecture and design
- API-led and event-driven integration patterns
- Integration platform experience (MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, or equivalent middleware)
- Data flow architecture, entity modeling, and integration process decomposition
- Governance, security, and compliance for enterprise integrations
- CI/CD awareness for integration deployments (Preferred)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the overall integration vision, architecture patterns, and frameworks
- Select and recommend appropriate integration platforms and supporting technologies
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into structured integration solutions
- Design end-to-end integration architectures, including data flows, entity definitions, and reusable process models
- Provide technical leadership, mentor integration teams, and support troubleshooting of complex integration issues
- Ensure all solutions align with enterprise standards, security policies, scalability, and performance expectations
- Establish and maintain integration governance through architecture documentation and compliance with best practices
- Evaluate existing integrations, assess new tools, and recommend improvements for enhanced performance, reliability, and scalability
- Support adoption of modern integration models including API-led, microservices, and event-based architectures when applicable
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Preferred)
- 8–10 years of integration architecture and middleware platform experience
- Proven ability to design scalable enterprise integrations and lead cross-functional technical delivery
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with business, product, and engineering teams
- Ability to manage ambiguity and convert open-ended business needs into structured architecture designs
