Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level business intelligence and automation solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and workflow automation, along with the ability to translate business requirements into impactful dashboards and insights.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and visual analytics.

• Build and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX expressions, and relationships for performance and accuracy.

• Implement row-level security (RLS), workspace governance, and Power BI best practices.

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Power BI reports for performance, reliability, and usability.

Power Automate & Automation

• Design, deploy, and manage Power Automate workflows, including:

  • Cloud flows

  • Desktop flows

  • Integrations with external systems

• Automate data refreshes, notifications, approvals, and business processes.

• Monitor and maintain scheduled workflows and refresh processes.

Data Integration & Microsoft Ecosystem

• Integrate Power BI and Power Automate with multiple data sources:

  • SQL databases

  • Excel

  • SharePoint

  • APIs

• Leverage Microsoft tools and platforms such as:

  • Power Apps

  • Dataverse

  • Microsoft Teams

• Ensure secure and governed access to enterprise data.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

• Translate requirements into technical BI and automation solutions.

• Provide training, documentation, and support to end users.

• Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and visualization.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

• Monitor platform usage and recommend improvements to BI and automation solutions.

• Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates and emerging features.

• Promote standards for data governance, security, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics roles.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI.

• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud & desktop flows).

• Experience integrating BI solutions with SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and Microsoft tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
