Location - Phoenix, AZ 85054 (hybrid)

 

Role Overview
We are seeking an Application Developer Contractor to join the GRCT team and help build out the Financial Crimes platform, initially focused on the Anti-money laundering journey. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a passion for building modern, user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities
•              Design and develop frontend components using React and JavaScript/Typescript to deliver intuitive user experiences.
•              Build and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Eclipse Vert.x.
•              Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment.
•              Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily standups.
•              Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack.
•              Ensure code quality through testing and test automation.
Required Qualifications
•              3+ years of experience in full-stack application development.
•              Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/Typescript, Kotlin, and Java.
•              Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
•              Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•              Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.  Taking accountability and responsibility for code that you own & maintain.
Preferred Attributes
•              Outgoing and proactive in team interactions.
•              Comfortable presenting ideas and engaging in technical discussions.
•              Passionate about building clean, maintainable code.
•              Experience in risk, compliance, or audit-related applications is a plus.
