Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Earnix Tech Lead / Lead Developer with 6–8 years of experience in Earnix pricing model configuration, SQL development, Guidewire integrations, and BFSI/Insurance pricing domain expertise. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience configuring Earnix pricing solutions, implementing rate tables and rate order calculations, integrating with peripheral systems, and supporting advanced pricing and customer behavior models within P&C Insurance or FinTech environments.
This role requires a strong combination of Earnix configuration, technical leadership, pricing domain knowledge, SQL expertise, and Agile delivery experience to design, develop, and support scalable pricing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support Earnix pricing models, rate tables, and rate order calculations.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Earnix software configurations aligned with business and product pricing requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and pricing teams to translate pricing strategies into technical solution designs.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries using Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL for data extraction, analysis, and pricing model support.
- Support Earnix data integration with upstream and downstream systems, including enterprise data sources and peripheral applications.
- Design and implement integrations between Earnix and Guidewire in P&C insurance environments.
- Support development and enhancement of pricing strategies, customer behavior models, and product pricing solutions.
- Utilize Python or R for scripting, analytical support, automation, and model-related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, actuarial, data, and engineering teams to deliver pricing solutions.
- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, code/configuration reviews, and best practice implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Earnix configuration, integrations, pricing models, and data flows.
- Support performance tuning, optimization, testing, and deployment of pricing solutions.
- Work in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and release activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration documentation, and solution design artifacts.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to development and implementation teams.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Earnix pricing model configuration
- Experience implementing rate tables, rate order calculations, and Earnix data integrations
- Advanced SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with Guidewire integration in P&C Insurance environments
- Familiarity with Python or R scripting
- Strong knowledge of BFSI / Insurance pricing domain
- Experience with pricing strategies, customer behavior modeling, and product development
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical leadership skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in P&C Insurance or FinTech pricing solutions
- Exposure to actuarial models and advanced pricing analytics
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and API-based solutions
- Experience supporting large-scale pricing transformation initiatives
