Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Data Analytics with 6–8 years of experience in product ownership, data analytics, and data-driven solution delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, Channel Analytics, Python, and product backlog management, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable data and analytics solutions. This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineering, analytics, and technology teams to deliver scalable data products, dashboards, insights, and analytical capabilities aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Product Owner for data and analytics initiatives, maximizing the value of data products and analytical solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into user stories, product backlogs, and actionable requirements.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps, backlog items, and sprint deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analytics teams, and technology partners to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Drive development and enhancement of data products, dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytical capabilities.
- Work with Snowflake to support data platform initiatives, data modeling, and analytical solution delivery.
- Utilize Channel Analytics to analyze performance trends, customer behavior, and business insights.
- Leverage Python for data analysis, automation, and supporting analytical use cases.
- Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, and support testing and validation activities.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, and stakeholder reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data products meet business, quality, and performance expectations.
- Monitor product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Support data governance, data quality, and compliance requirements related to analytics solutions.
- Communicate product vision, priorities, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Skills
- Strong experience as a Product Owner in Data & Analytics environments
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Channel Analytics and data-driven insights
- Proficiency in Python for analytics and automation
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and user story creation
- Experience delivering data platforms, dashboards, reporting, and analytics products
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business analysis skills
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and analytical solution delivery
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ignio AIOps or related intelligent automation platforms
- Exposure to advanced analytics, AI/ML, or predictive modeling use cases
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics solutions
