Job Title: .NET Technical Lead
Location: Newark, NJ
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Technical Lead with a strong full-stack background and proven leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end delivery, drive technical excellence, and lead development teams while ensuring high-quality production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Ownership (Critical)
- Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of assigned initiatives.
- Break down business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
- Drive projects to completion, ensuring readiness beyond just development (testing, QA, production readiness).
- Identify dependencies, manage risks, and proactively communicate issues.
Hands-on Full Stack Development
- Actively contribute to development across the stack:
- Backend: APIs, services, and data access layers
- Frontend: UI integration using modern frameworks
- Database: SQL development, schema design, and performance tuning
- Review and approve code while enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when required.
Leadership & Communication (Critical)
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and product owners.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear status updates.
- Lead technical discussions, architectural decisions, and trade-off analysis.
- Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Required Skills & Technologies:
- Strong experience with .NET (C#) and backend development
- Experience with at least one additional backend technology: Java or Python
- Frontend expertise in React, Angular, or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance tuning
- Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
