Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced L3 Data Platform Support Engineer to provide advanced production support for enterprise data platforms built on Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, PySpark, and TigerGraph. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, performance optimization, and adherence to SLAs while resolving complex data and system issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L3 production support for data platforms including ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, PySpark pipelines, and TigerGraph
- Perform deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for data failures, performance issues, and incidents
- Troubleshoot batch and streaming data pipelines, Databricks clusters, workflows, and graph queries
- Resolve issues related to data latency, ingestion failures, and data quality
- Support production deployments, releases, and hotfixes
- Monitor system health and ensure high availability and SLA compliance
- Collaborate with L2 support teams and provide technical guidance and escalation support
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge documentation
- Work with monitoring and logging tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Participate in on-call rotations and shift-based support
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
- Azure Databricks (ADB)
- PySpark (advanced debugging and performance tuning)
- TigerGraph (GSQL, data loaders, schema design, query optimization)
- Strong expertise in SQL and data troubleshooting
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex data pipeline issues
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and ITSM tools
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with Git/version control systems
- Ability to handle production support in high-pressure environments

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with streaming frameworks (Kafka, Structured Streaming)

- Strong communication and documentation skills
