Title: Project Manager (Recent Banking is Mandate)
Location: Phoniex AZ, Charlotte NC, Sunrise FL
Role Overview
Client is looking for seasoned Project Managers / Senior Project Managers to
drive end‑to‑end delivery of large, cross‑functional enterprise initiatives
across Finance, Risk & Compliance, Global Supply Management, and Servicing
organizations.
Focused on enterprise program orchestration, delivery governance, risk management, and execution oversight. The PM acts as a critical bridge between Product, Engineering Platform teams, and Business stakeholders, ensuring consistent application of delivery controls, testing strategy, and enterprise standards.
Note: This role does not manage Scrum teams or day‑to‑day Agile ceremonies. Platform and Scrum execution remain with Engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
End‑to‑End Delivery Ownership
- Own delivery from intake, planning, execution, testing, release, through post‑delivery stabilization
- Manage integrated delivery plans across Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Operations
- Ensure delivery outcomes align with business objectives, regulatory expectations, and enterprise standards
- Lead end‑to‑end program management, including testing and release strategy
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between Product Strategy and Engineering Platform teams
- Translate business priorities into clear milestones, timelines, and delivery plans
- Drive alignment across multiple senior stakeholders without direct authority
Delivery Governance & Process Rigor
- Apply appropriate delivery rigor based on initiative complexity and risk
- Enforce client delivery standards, governance models, and controls
- Identify gaps in execution or process adoption and proactively recommend improvements
Risk, Compliance & Controls
- Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, and Control teams to ensure:
- Timely reviews and approvals
- Clear audit trails and decision documentation
- Adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements
- Proactively identify delivery, dependency, and execution risks with mitigation plans
Testing & Quality Strategy
- Drive end‑to‑end testing strategy, including:
- UAT coordination
- Integration and downstream impact testing
- Release readiness validation
- Ensure testing ownership and accountability across Product and Engineering teams
Executive Communication & Reporting
- Deliver clear, concise status updates to senior leadership
- Surface risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs early with actionable recommendations
- Maintain transparency on scope, timelines, and delivery confidence
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong experience delivering large‑scale, cross‑functional enterprise programs
- Expertise in Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile at scale environments
- Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and parallel workstreams
- Strong focus on quality, risk mitigation, and operational readiness
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Domain Experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
- Banking or Financial Services
- Finance & Financial Operations
- Risk, Compliance, Controls, or Regulatory programs
- Servicing / Customer Operations
- Global Supply Management / Procurement
- Prior Banking Domain
- Experience in highly regulated financial services environments
- Exposure to multi‑year or multi‑portfolio enterprise initiatives
- Familiarity with client delivery, risk, or governance frameworks
