Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Java L3 Application Support Engineer to provide advanced production support for enterprise applications built on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. This role requires deep technical expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization, ensuring high availability and stability of critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 production support for business-critical applications
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) for complex and recurring issues
• Debug issues related to:
• APIs and microservices
• Backend logic (Java / Spring Boot)
• Frontend components (Angular)
• Analyze:
• Application logs and stack traces
• Database queries and performance bottlenecks
• Implement bug fixes, patches, and minor enhancements
• Support production deployments, releases, and hotfixes
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
• Guide L2 support teams for issue triage and resolution
• Ensure adherence to:
• SLAs
• Incident and change management processes
• Participate in on-call rotations (24x7 support model)
• Maintain and enhance:
• Runbooks, SOPs, and support documentation
• Proactively identify stability, performance, and security improvements

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6–8 years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• L3 Production Application Support (Mandatory)
• Java (Advanced Concepts)
• Spring Boot
• Angular
• Strong expertise in:
• Microservices architecture and APIs
• Troubleshooting and debugging production issues
• Experience with:
• Incident management and RCA processes
• Production deployments and release support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
