Job title: Apptio Developer

Location – Phoenix Arizona 85054 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Apptio TBM models, including cost allocation, tower mapping, and service costing
• Implement and enhance Apptio applications such as:
• Cost Transparency
• IT Planning
• Billing
• Cloudability (FinOps)
• Develop and manage Apptio data pipelines, rules, metrics, and dashboards
• Perform data integration from multiple sources (ERP, GL, CMDB, Cloud platforms, ServiceNow, etc.)
• Configure ATUM‑aligned cost models and allocation logic
• Build custom reports, insights, and scorecards for executive and operational stakeholders
• Support month‑end / quarter‑end financial processes and variance analysis
• Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, model logic, and performance
• Collaborate with finance, IT, cloud, and procurement teams to drive cost optimization
• Provide documentation, training, and ongoing operational support

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Apptio (Aptio) TBM platform
• Solid understanding of Technology Business Management (TBM) framework
• Experience with:
• Cost modeling & allocations
• Financial data analysis
• IT Financial Management
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis concepts
• Experience integrating data from ERP/GL systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

 

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloudability / FinOps implementations
• Apptio certifications (TBM, Cost Transparency, Cloudability)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, CMDB, Power BI, Tableau
• Scripting knowledge (Python, R, or similar)
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
