Bill Rate: $47/hr
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Performance Tester with strong hands-on experience in performance and load testing of Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. The ideal candidate will ensure system performance, scalability, and stability under varying load conditions, supporting enterprise Guidewire implementations and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for Guidewire applications.
- Identify and analyze critical business transactions (New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, FNOL, Claims lifecycle).
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or K6.
- Perform performance testing across UI, APIs, and batch processes.
- Monitor system performance and analyze behavior across application, middleware, and database layers.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis (CPU, memory, garbage collection, database, network).
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
- Prepare detailed performance reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in performance testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
- Expertise in performance testing tools:
- LoadRunner, JMeter, or K6
- Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
- Experience in testing web services and APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and performance analysis.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in enterprise Guidewire implementations or modernization programs.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.).
- Understanding of secure delivery and operations practices.
