Copilot Trainer – Microsoft 365 Copilot (AI
Adoption & Enablement)
Location: Columbus, OH
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Copilot Trainer to drive enterprise-wide adoption and enablement of Microsoft 365 Copilot. This role focuses on delivering impactful training, building user capability, and accelerating measurable productivity outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional expertise in M365 Copilot, training delivery, and change management to enable business users to effectively leverage AI-powered workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Copilot Enablement & Training Delivery
- Deliver engaging live training sessions, webinars, and demos across Microsoft 365 Copilot tools (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Conduct hands-on labs, walkthroughs, and office hours to reinforce learning.
- Develop and manage on-demand training content including recordings and quick reference guides.
2. Prompt Engineering & Coaching
- Train users on prompt writing best practices (context, structure, constraints, iteration).
- Build and maintain persona-based prompt libraries.
- Provide real-time prompt coaching to improve user outcomes.
3. Persona Discovery & DITL (Day-in-the-Life) Analysis
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to identify workflows, challenges, and opportunities.
- Develop persona-based use cases and scenario maps.
- Align training with high-impact business outcomes.
4. Design Thinking & Use Case Development
- Facilitate design thinking workshops to identify workflows and automation opportunities.
- Create use-case backlogs and learning paths (basic to advanced).
- Translate business needs into practical training scenarios.
5. Learning Design & Content Development
- Develop structured lesson plans, lab guides, facilitator scripts, and training materials.
- Create role-based learning paths (Finance, HR, Sales, Operations, Executives, etc.).
- Maintain reusable learning assets and documentation.
6. Change Management & Community Engagement
- Run Change Corners / adoption clinics to support users and gather feedback.
- Build and support champion networks and internal communities.
- Drive engagement through collaboration platforms (Teams, Viva Engage).
7. Adoption Campaigns & Communication
- Design targeted campaigns such as:
- “Prompt of the Week”
- “Use Case of the Week”
- Tips, success stories, and newsletters
- Partner with communication teams to drive awareness and reduce change fatigue.
8. Adoption Metrics & ROI Tracking
- Track and analyze adoption metrics, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Provide insights on productivity gains and ROI.
- Support dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Enablement
- Develop and deliver train-the-trainer programs.
- Certify internal trainers and transfer knowledge to client teams.
- Provide toolkits including scripts, labs, and FAQs.
10. Continuous Learning & Innovation
- Stay updated with Microsoft Copilot feature releases.
- Continuously update training content and delivery strategies.
- Adapt quickly to evolving AI capabilities and enterprise needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in training, digital adoption, or change management.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot or AI productivity tools.
- Experience in training delivery, facilitation, and instructional design.
- Strong understanding of:
- Prompt engineering and AI workflows
- Office 365 Administration basics
- Adoption frameworks and change management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to translate business workflows into AI-driven solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in:
- Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace / Copilot
- Change Management (Prosci / ADKAR)
- Experience in design thinking workshops and persona-based training.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI tools and enterprise adoption programs.
- Experience in regulated industries (Banking/Finance/Insurance).
