Location: Beachwood, OH 44122 (100% On-site)
Duration: 12+ Months
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA (EBS DBA) to support and manage Oracle E-Business Suite environments (11i/R12/R12.2). The role involves administration, performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases and applications in a multi-node enterprise environment, along with exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day Oracle Database & Oracle Applications (EBS) administration and support
- Administer and maintain multi-node Oracle Applications environments
- Apply patches using adpatch and adop
- Conduct performance diagnostics and tuning (database & concurrent programs)
- Manage:
- Concurrent Managers
- Oracle Workflow processes
- Users and responsibilities
- Handle cloning of Oracle Applications instances
- Administer WebLogic components for R12.2
- Manage backup and recovery using RMAN
- Troubleshoot database and application-level issues
- Maintain database and application security standards
- Perform code migration and change management across environments
- Collaborate with team members to deliver support and project tasks on time
- Conduct continuous learning and R&D on OCI and Oracle Apps DBA practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA / Oracle EBS DBA
- Strong expertise in:
- Oracle EBS (11i / R12 / R12.2)
- Oracle Database 12c Administration
- Oracle Applications architecture and tools
- Hands-on experience with:
- Multi-node environments
- Patching (adpatch, adop)
- Cloning and instance management
- Performance tuning
- Strong knowledge of:
- RMAN, OEM Grid Control
- RAC, ASM, Data Guard / Standby databases
- Oracle RDBMS patching (PSU/CPU/Rollups)
- Experience with:
- Linux / UNIX operating systems
- Backup and recovery processes
- Troubleshooting database errors
- Experience with code migration, database change management, and data lifecycle processes
- Strong communication, documentation, and independent working ability
- Mandatory: Knowledge or experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Oracle certifications (Database / Applications)
- Knowledge of:
- WebLogic
- OAM, SSO, OID
- GoldenGate
- SOX compliance knowledge
- Experience leading DBA teams or projects
- SQL / PLSQL development experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
