Max Rate: $48/hr
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing efforts across multiple application teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in QA, automation, and financial services (credit card domain preferred), along with the ability to manage test strategy, execution, and stakeholder communication to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end test coordination across multiple application teams.
- Manage test planning, execution, status tracking, and reporting.
- Oversee test data setup, test case creation, and defect management.
- Design and implement automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, or Playwright.
- Perform and manage various testing types:
- Functional Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Regression Testing
- GUI Testing
- Web Services/API Testing
- Browser Compatibility Testing
- Ensure timely resolution of defects and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environment.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD/CT practices using tools like Jenkins, JIRA, Rally.
- Maintain version control using Git or SVN and leverage service virtualization where needed.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and benchmarks.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership through reports and dashboards.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools, trends, and strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering, preferably in the financial services domain.
- Strong experience in:
- Test case design and execution
- Test data creation
- Defect tracking and resolution
- Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright.
- Solid understanding of multiple testing methodologies (Functional, SIT, Regression, API, UI).
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, TDD).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, JIRA, Rally.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Credit Card / Payments domain.
- Exposure to continuous testing and service virtualization.
- Experience in building test dashboards and reporting metrics.
