Job Title: Genesys Cloud CX Solution Architect

Location: Cary, NC (Local Candidates Only)
Bill Rate: $55/hr


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Genesys Cloud CX Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Genesys Cloud architecture, integrations, and automation, enabling enhanced customer engagement and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design scalable, secure Genesys Cloud CX solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Lead implementation of AI-powered Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) solutions
  • Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, and best practices
  • Configure Genesys Cloud CX components including:
    • IVR (Interactive Voice Response)
    • ACD (Automatic Call Distribution)
    • Call Routing & SIP Trunking
    • Workforce Engagement Management (WEM)
    • Reporting & Analytics
  • Integrate Genesys Cloud with third-party systems (CRM, WFM, AI/ML platforms, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring high system availability
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine contact center requirements
  • Work closely with developers, engineers, and IT teams for seamless deployments
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Genesys Cloud CX architecture & configuration
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • IVR, ACD, SIP Trunking, Call Routing
    • Workforce Engagement Management (WEM)
    • Contact Center Analytics
  • Experience with APIs & Web Services (REST, JSON, OAuth)
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation using:
    • JavaScript
    • Python
    • PowerShell
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Genesys environments
  • Strong understanding of CTI integrations (Genesys, Avaya Aura)

Preferred / Desirable Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure
  • Exposure to AI/ML integrations in contact center environments
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
