Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in Pharma Commercial Patient Services. This role will act as a critical bridge between business, IT, and external vendors to design and deliver patient-centric solutions, focusing on onboarding, benefits investigation, adherence, and patient support programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Patient Services programs.
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Design and map end-to-end patient journeys across HCPs, patients, HUBs, and internal teams.
- Work closely with Scrum Master and Technical Leads to support Agile delivery.
- Collaborate with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Privacy teams to ensure compliance (HIPAA/GDPR, consent, AE reporting).
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
- Define and track KPIs and success metrics such as enrollment conversion, adherence rates, and time-to-therapy.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners for seamless solution delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst.
- Strong domain experience in Pharma Commercial – Patient Services.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Patient onboarding and enrollment workflows
- Benefits investigation and prior authorization
- Copay and affordability programs
- Patient adherence and persistence programs
- Patient support services / HUB models
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and Agile user story creation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with platforms:
- Salesforce Health Cloud / Service Cloud
- Veeva CRM
- Patient HUB systems
- Understanding of access and reimbursement processes.
- Experience in omnichannel patient engagement.
