Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft Developer (Techno-Functional) with 10+ years of expertise in PeopleSoft Financials modules. The ideal candidate will have strong architectural, development, and functional knowledge, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions across the PeopleSoft ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end technical solutions within PeopleSoft Financials.
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
- Perform fit-gap analysis, impact analysis, and recommend optimal solutions.
- Develop and enhance PeopleSoft functionalities, customizations, and integrations.
- Build and maintain technical components using PeopleTools (8.5x+):
- Application Designer
- PeopleCode
- Integration Broker
- Component Interfaces
- Application Engine
- SQR, BI Publisher
- PS Query, File Layouts
- Manage complex integrations across systems.
- Ensure adherence to security standards, roles, permissions, and workflows (AWE).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support PeopleSoft upgrades/migrations (PUM images, tools upgrades).
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Ensure compliance, scalability, and performance optimization of applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Developer (Techno-Functional).
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Financials modules:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Billing
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Project Costing (PC)
- Travel & Expenses (T&E)
- Banking
- Hands-on experience with PeopleTools 8.5x+.
- Strong programming skills in PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR.
- Experience with Integration Broker & system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and database concepts.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Security & Workflow (AWE).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AutoSys (Job Scheduling & JIL scripting).
- Exposure to PeopleSoft Fluid UI.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA.
- Experience working on Linux environments.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft upgrades/migrations (PUM, Tools upgrades).
