Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in credit card authorization and third-party vendor management. This role involves driving product strategy, ensuring seamless collaboration between business and technology teams, and delivering high-quality, compliant solutions that meet customer and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and customer needs, and design innovative product solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and third-party servicing partners.
- Collaborate closely with technology teams to ensure best-in-class product delivery and customer outcomes.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with product operations and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and enhance third-party servicing processes to minimize risk and protect brand reputation.
- Conduct contract testing to ensure compliance with AEMP 10 standards.
- Oversee implementation of products/services across third-party vendors ensuring quality and risk mitigation.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence across all product and partner activities.
- Partner with Operations Excellence, Business, and Product teams to identify gaps and streamline processes.
- Track vendor performance through SLA monitoring, reporting, and process controls.
- Ensure supplier compliance with organizational standards (AXP requirements).
- Drive audit readiness and remediation efforts.
- Act as an escalation point for partner-related issues and incidents.
- Manage third-party lifecycle activities including pre-contract, post-contract, and termination phases.
- Build dashboards and provide leadership with actionable insights and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in credit card authorization (preferred).
- Strong understanding of product management and project management principles.
- Proven experience in third-party/vendor management.
- Knowledge of SLA tracking, process controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in financial services or payments domain.
- Familiarity with AEMP 10 compliance standards.
- Experience in dashboarding and reporting tools.
