Job Title: Information Security Analyst (SaaS / Cloud Security)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst with strong expertise in SaaS security, cloud environments, and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will evaluate third-party SaaS platforms, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry security standards while supporting enterprise cloud security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform risk assessments of third-party SaaS providers:
- Evaluate security controls
- Review evidence and documentation
- Interview technical teams
- Assess control design vs. effectiveness
- Analyze user traffic and access patterns to external SaaS platforms to identify enterprise risk
- Monitor trends and proactively identify security risks and organizational needs
- Create and maintain:
- Operational documentation
- Risk reports
- Trend analysis dashboards
- Evaluate SaaS technologies for:
- Technical feasibility
- Functional suitability
- Financial viability
- Collaborate with:
- Technology teams
- Business stakeholders
- Provide security expertise across:
- SaaS platforms
- Cloud application architecture
- Enterprise cloud programs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of:
- Multi-tenant SaaS environments
- Cloud shared responsibility model (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Identity federation (SAML, OIDC)
- Experience with:
- Data classification solutions
- SaaS security and governance
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks:
- FedRAMP
- NIST
- CSA
- PCI
- Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Experience in financial services / regulated environments
- Exposure to:
- Cloud security architecture
- SaaS risk management frameworks
- (Optional/Bonus) Technical background in:
- Java
- Spring Framework
- Microservices architecture
- gRPC / Netty
