Role Overview
We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure Architect responsible for designing and evolving enterprise Azure platforms, including Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, and infrastructure automation. The role focuses on enabling secure, scalable, and compliant cloud adoption while supporting enterprise workloads through standardized infrastructure practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and enterprise cloud architecture, along with the ability to lead discovery, define target state architectures, and implement governance controls.
Key Responsibilities
Assess current Azure environments including tenants, subscriptions, services, and dependencies.
Design and implement Azure Landing Zone architecture following enterprise scale patterns.
Define and enforce governance models including management groups, RBAC, and resource organization.
Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.
Standardize and build reusable IaC modules and pipelines.
Design subscription provisioning and vending processes aligned with governance policies.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for production environments.
Integrate Azure monitoring with enterprise tools such as Dynatrace.
Define and implement security controls, compliance standards, and platform guardrails.
Develop architecture documentation including diagrams, design documents, and operational runbooks.
Collaborate with application, operations, and governance teams for platform adoption.
Support migration assessments including dependency mapping and readiness analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
8–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and architecture roles.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise Azure Landing Zones.
Experience in cloud migration assessment and platform transformation initiatives.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure platform and services.
Experience with Azure Landing Zone design and implementation.
Strong knowledge of management groups, subscriptions, RBAC, and governance frameworks.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Experience with CI CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Azure Monitor and Dynatrace.
Experience with subscription provisioning and automation processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well Architected Framework.
Understanding of multi cloud provisioning patterns and governance models.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Ability to lead initiatives and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Azure certifications such as Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
Experience with multi cloud environments and hybrid architectures.
Experience implementing enterprise security and compliance controls.
