Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced OpenText & Quadient Developer with strong expertise in customer communication management (CCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Quadient Inspire and OpenText Exstream, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining customer communication systems. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and scalable communication solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, and support OpenText and Quadient CCM applications
- Develop customer communications using Quadient Inspire Designer, Interactive, and ICM
- Create and manage communication workflows using Quadient Interactive ticketing system
- Guide business users and content authors on ticket-based communication design
- Work with OpenText Exstream tools including:
- Communications Server
- Design Manager & Designer
- Content Author
- Ensure all communications are ADA compliant and meet accessibility standards
- Perform migration and conversion from legacy CCM tools to Quadient/OpenText platforms
- Upgrade and support version migrations (e.g., OpenText upgrades from older to newer versions)
- Develop and integrate solutions using:
- APIs and Microservices
- JavaScript-based customizations
- Application interfaces
- Collaborate with product owners using Agile methodologies to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Support QA, UAT, and performance testing activities
- Perform production deployments and technical validations (tech checkouts)
- Actively troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and issues
- Integrate CCM platforms with Linux and Windows environments
- Develop and maintain scripts using Ksh, Bash, and Shell scripting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Quadient Inspire (Designer, Interactive, ICM)
- OpenText Exstream / Communications Server
- Experience with:
- CCM (Customer Communication Management) solutions
- API integrations and Microservices architecture
- JavaScript development
- Knowledge of:
- ADA compliance and accessibility standards
- Ticket-based communication design workflows
- Application integration and system interfaces
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows environments
- Hands-on experience in scripting (Ksh, Bash, Shell)
- Experience with migration and upgrade projects
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Inspire Scaler
- Certifications in Quadient and/or OpenText
- Exposure to Design Thinking methodologies
- Prior experience in large enterprise communication platforms
