Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced RHOS Implementation Engineer with 8–12 years of experience in Red Hat OpenShift, VMware migration, KubeVirt, and enterprise infrastructure engineering. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end migration of workloads from VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter to Red Hat OpenShift and KubeVirt, while supporting enterprise-grade OpenShift cluster deployment, operations, security, and storage integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end migration of workloads from VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter to Red Hat OpenShift and KubeVirt.
- Design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift clusters in bare-metal, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Administer OpenShift cluster lifecycle including installation, upgrades, patching, scaling, and node maintenance.
- Support daily operations for both VM and container workloads, including high availability scheduling, live migration, and performance tuning.
- Guide storage teams in configuring and managing storage integrations including SAN/NAS, CSI drivers, and persistent volumes for OpenShift workloads.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Network teams to implement IAM, RBAC, network policies, and enterprise security controls.
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, compliance, and adherence to enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, storage, and workload-related issues across OpenShift environments.
- Support automation, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives for OpenShift platforms.
Required Skills:
- 8–12 years of infrastructure/platform engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and implementation.
- Expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter migrations.
- Experience with KubeVirt for VM workloads on Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of OpenShift cluster lifecycle management (install, patching, upgrades, scaling).
- Experience with storage integrations (SAN/NAS, CSI Drivers, Persistent Volumes).
- Experience implementing IAM, RBAC, network policies, and security controls.
- Strong understanding of container platforms, Kubernetes ecosystems, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Experience supporting HA scheduling, live migration, and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enterprise automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Knowledge of regulatory and security compliance standards.
- Red Hat certifications preferred.
