Max Rate: $50/hr
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in ESP and Snowflake. This is a hands-on development role requiring end-to-end involvement in coding, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience working on data platforms and migration projects, particularly from Oracle to Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ESP (Event Stream Processing / Enterprise Scheduling Platform) solutions.
- Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Work with Snowflake for data processing, transformation, and performance tuning.
- Participate in full SDLC including coding, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment.
- Support data migration initiatives, specifically Oracle to Snowflake migration.
- Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and application-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and QA teams.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in software/data development
- Strong hands-on experience with ESP Development
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience in end-to-end development (coding, testing, deployment)
- Strong understanding of database concepts and data warehousing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Oracle to Snowflake migration projects
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes
- Experience working in Agile environments
