Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst / Technical Solution Analyst with strong domain expertise in Transaction Banking, Treasury Services, and Cash Management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in liquidity management, cash concentration structures, and deposit products, along with strong analytical and technical skills to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Lead requirement discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to define as-is and to-be processes
• Create and manage epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Analyze and document business requirements for:
• Cash concentration structures (Zero/Target Balance, Physical/Notional Sweeps)
• Deposit products and benefit calculations (Interest, ECR, Account Analysis)
• Translate complex business rules (cutoffs, thresholds, rate indices, accrual methods, etc.) into functional specifications and test cases
• Define data lineage, reconciliation, and validation rules across systems

Solution Design & Delivery

• Develop functional specifications, interface contracts, and API documentation (REST/JSON)
• Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering teams on solution design and integration patterns (API, batch, event-driven)
• Define non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, resilience)
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile delivery cycles
• Ensure traceability from requirements through testing and deployment

Data & Technical Analysis

• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL
• Design and document source-to-target data mappings
• Work with file formats, batch scheduling, and integration flows
• Use tools like Postman for API testing

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a liaison between Business, Product, Engineering, Treasury/Finance, and Operations teams
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Manage dependencies, risks, and cross-functional coordination

Required Skills & Qualifications

Domain Expertise

• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Solution Analyst
• Strong background in:
• Transaction Banking
• Treasury Services
• Cash Management
• Hands-on experience with:
• Cash concentration (Zero/Target Balance, Sweeps)
• Deposit products
• Earnings Credit Rate (ECR) & Interest calculations
• Understanding of:
• Ledger vs Available vs Collected balances
• Value dating, daylight overdrafts
• Cutoffs and time zone impacts

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in:
• Writing functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• SQL for data analysis
• Data modeling and mapping (Source-to-Target)
• Experience with:
• REST APIs, JSON, interface contracts
• API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
• Batch processing and file-based integrations
• Familiarity with:
• Agile (Scrum) methodology
• Tools like JIRA and Confluence
