Description:
Legacy insurance applications are being migrated from a lower-technology stack to a modern and scalable tech stack. As an SDET, the candidate will support automation development, contribute to software quality initiatives, and ensure seamless testing coverage throughout the migration lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation
- Design and develop automated test frameworks.
- Write maintainable and reusable automated test scripts.
- Implement CI/CD-based testing using Concourse.
- Develop end-to-end, integration, and unit tests.
Development
- Write clean, efficient code for test automation using TypeScript, Python, supporting Web/API/Batch testing (Playwright, Selenium, Python).
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to software design discussions.
- Maintain testing infrastructure and tools.
Quality Assurance
- Analyze test results and create detailed defect reports in Jira.
- Perform both manual and automated testing; validate all code and artifacts in Git.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and maintain traceability.
- Track test coverage and quality metrics in Confluence and test reporting tools.
Required Skills

- Languages: Python, Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript
- Automation Frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Playwright
- Version Control: Git
- CI/CD Tools: Concourse (primary), Jenkins, Azure DevOps
