Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced CCB Test Lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for applications within the Utilities domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CCB), test strategy execution, and team leadership to ensure high-quality deliverables and smooth execution of test cycles.
Key Responsibilities
CCB Testing & Domain Expertise
- Lead testing efforts for Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CCB) implementations and enhancements
- Work on CCB EDI integrations and validate end-to-end workflows
- Ensure alignment with utility operations and regulatory standards
Test Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Perform:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- Regression Testing
- Performance Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate APIs, services, and data layers using manual and automated approaches
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Defect Management & Quality Assurance
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM
- Conduct root cause analysis and defect triaging
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and compliance requirements
- Provide test reports, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead and mentor QA/testing teams across onshore/offshore models
- Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and third-party vendors
- Drive test cycle planning, execution, and sign-offs
- Participate in client discussions, requirement analysis, and release planning
Required Skills
- 8–12+ years of experience in QA / Testing, with leadership experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle CCB (Customer Care & Billing)
- Experience with CCB EDI and Utilities domain processes
- Expertise in:
- Test Strategy & Planning
- Defect Management
- API Testing
- Data Validation
- Experience with tools: JIRA, HP ALM
- Strong understanding of end-to-end testing lifecycle (STLC)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Test Automation tools (Tosca, Selenium)
- Knowledge of ArcGIS / Spatial Data Testing / Geospatial Validation
- Exposure to performance testing and process optimization
