Role Overview
We are seeking an Infrastructure Automation Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow, API integrations, and scripting. The role focuses on designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline infrastructure operations, improve efficiency, and enhance system integration across enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Python and PowerShell scripting, ServiceNow development, and building scalable automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
Build and enhance ServiceNow applications using JavaScript for server side and client side scripting.
Develop automation scripts using Python and PowerShell for infrastructure and system operations.
Create and manage integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and data sources.
Design and implement automated data flows between ServiceNow and SQL Server systems.
Optimize automation processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, integrations, and scripting.
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and design artifacts.
Support CI CD pipelines and version control practices.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements and enhancements.
Provide operational support and participate in on call rotations as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
6–8 years of hands on experience in infrastructure automation and ServiceNow development.
4+ years of experience in ServiceNow integrations and automation.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with ServiceNow development including Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and workflows.
Strong scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
Experience with REST and SOAP API integrations.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or VMware.
Understanding of ServiceNow data model, CMDB, and CSDM framework.
Experience with ServiceNow catalog and workflow development.
Experience with version control tools such as GitHub.
Experience with SQL Server and backend data integration is preferred.
Familiarity with CI CD pipelines and automation tools.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting dashboards.
