Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail L2 Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle Retail Merchandising modules. The ideal candidate will provide L2 production support, monitor batch jobs, and ensure smooth functioning of retail systems and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 Application Support for Oracle Retail systems in a production environment
- Monitor and manage batch jobs, integrations, and data pipelines, ensuring timely issue resolution
- Support Oracle Retail modules including:
- RMS (Retail Merchandising System)
- RESA (Retail Sales Audit)
- RIM (Retail Invoice Matching)
- RPM (Retail Price Management)
- Troubleshoot and resolve data flow failures, job failures, and system issues
- Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes or escalate when necessary
- Work on incident management, problem management, and change requests
- Ensure system stability, availability, and performance across retail applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, development, infrastructure)
- Support integration flows using OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud)
- Perform data validation and debugging using SQL/PLSQL
- Work in rotational shifts and provide production support coverage
Required Skills
- 8–10+ years of experience in Application Support (L2/L3)
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite:
- RMS, RESA, RIM, RPM
- Strong expertise in:
- SQL, PL/SQL
- Databricks
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Experience monitoring batch processing, ETL jobs, and integrations
- Good understanding of retail merchandising business processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues under pressure
- Flexibility to work in shifts and onsite environment
