Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer with strong expertise in PolicyCenter configuration and integration development. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining Guidewire applications while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, strong development skills, and the ability to deliver scalable and efficient insurance platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter applications based on business requirements.
Design and implement integrations between Guidewire and external systems.
Customize PolicyCenter functionalities including workflows, rules, and UI components.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues.
Support system enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.
Maintain technical documentation for configurations and integrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

6+ years of experience in Guidewire development.
Experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Experience in configuration and integration development within Guidewire.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.
Experience in Guidewire integration development using web services and APIs.
Knowledge of Guidewire data model, workflows, and business rules.
Experience with Java and related technologies used in Guidewire implementations.
Understanding of insurance domain processes is preferred.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in Agile and fast paced environments.
Strong attention to detail and quality focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in insurance domain projects.
Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud or digital implementations.
Experience supporting production environments and system enhancements.
