Job Title: Oracle Subscription Management Cloud Techno Functional Consultant
Location: Schaumburg, IL – Hybrid (Onsite for Workshops, SIT, UAT, and Go Live)
Duration: 12+ Months

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Subscription Management Cloud Techno Functional Consultant with strong expertise in subscription lifecycle management and Order to Cash processes. The ideal candidate will lead requirement gathering sessions, configure Oracle Subscription Management Cloud solutions, and support implementation across billing, pricing, and revenue recognition processes. This role requires strong functional and technical understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules and the ability to guide business stakeholders on subscription management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering and Workshops
   Lead client workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into functional design documents for subscription based business models.

2. Subscription Management Configuration
   Configure Oracle Subscription Management Cloud including product catalogs, pricing models, billing schedules, proration logic, and discount rules.

3. Subscription Lifecycle Management
   Manage end to end subscription lifecycle processes including subscription creation, amendments, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations.

4. Order to Cash Process Integration
   Ensure seamless integration between Oracle Subscription Management Cloud and related Oracle Fusion modules including Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management Cloud Service, and Install Base.

5. Functional Design Documentation
   Create functional design documents, solution specifications, and test cases to support system implementation and configuration.

6. Revenue Recognition Compliance
   Support revenue recognition processes aligned with accounting standards such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15.

7. Testing and Implementation Support
   Drive system integration testing and user acceptance testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve defects.

8. Contract Conversion
   Support the conversion of existing customer contracts and subscription agreements into Oracle Subscription Management Cloud.

9. Stakeholder Communication
   Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technology teams to ensure alignment on subscription management processes.

10. Training and Post Go Live Support
    Provide user training, system documentation, and post implementation support to ensure smooth adoption of subscription management solutions.

11. Subject Matter Expertise
    Act as a subject matter expert advising clients on subscription management best practices, SaaS billing models, and revenue recognition frameworks.

Required Skills

1. Deep functional expertise in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud.

2. Strong knowledge of Order to Cash processes within Oracle Fusion Cloud environments.

3. Experience working with related Oracle modules including Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management Cloud Service, and Install Base.

4. Strong understanding of subscription management processes including product catalog management, pricing models, billing cycles, renewals, cancellations, and revenue recognition.

5. Experience creating functional design documents and test scenarios.

6. Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606.

7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience implementing SaaS subscription models including recurring billing and usage based billing.

2. Experience integrating Oracle Subscription Management Cloud with external systems and enterprise applications.

3. Experience supporting enterprise subscription billing transformations.

Experience Required

1. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and subscription management systems.

2. Proven experience implementing Oracle Subscription Management Cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
