Title: Data Engineer (Power BI)
Duration: 12 months/Contract
Location: Phoenix AZ


This role is about turning asset and ServiceNow data into clear, reliable business insights that leaders can actually use.

Here’s what the role is really about:

• Purpose:
  Build and support a strong data and analytics capability for Asset Management, helping the organization understand what’s happening across the asset lifecycle and how to improve it.
• What the person will do day‑to‑day:
• Analyze large amounts of asset (AMDB) and ServiceNow data to spot trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports that are clear enough for executives and useful for operations teams
• Convert complex data into simple, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Automate reporting and improve data quality to reduce manual work and errors
• Work closely with Asset Management and Technology teams to improve how data is captured, validated, and reported

  Someone who is highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and quality‑focused, with a strong mindset around data accuracy, testing, and performance optimization.
• Core skills involved:
• SQL for data analysis
• Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, performance tuning)
• ServiceNow data (especially asset lifecycle and tickets)
• Power Apps & Power Automate to streamline workflows
• Strong ability to tell a data story through executive‑ready visuals

In short:
This is a data analytics role within Asset Management, focused on using ServiceNow and Power Platform tools to improve decision‑making, efficiency, and data integrity across the asset lifecycle.
