Role Overview
We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong expertise in Sales and Marketing domain architecture within telecommunications environments. The role focuses on designing scalable, cloud native architectures, aligning business strategies with technical solutions, and driving enterprise level system design across complex ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in BSS systems, strong architectural leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams in building high performance, secure, and scalable platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Define and evolve end to end architecture for Sales and Marketing systems across applications, services, and platforms.
Establish architectural principles, standards, and reference models for consistent system design.
Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to align domain architecture with organizational strategy.
Develop strong understanding of business workflows and system capabilities across the Sales and Marketing ecosystem.
Identify optimal solution designs while minimizing complexity and redundancy.
Guide teams on extending existing platforms versus introducing new technologies.
Design cloud native, distributed systems supporting high volume and business critical operations.
Promote API first and event driven architecture patterns.
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.
Translate business and product strategies into architecture roadmaps.
Evaluate emerging technologies through proof of concepts and recommend adoption strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor to product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive architectural decisions and best practices.
Support teams in reducing ambiguity and improving solution delivery efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Experience
12+ years of experience in IT across architecture, design, development, testing, or application support.
4+ years of experience in telecommunications or MSO environments with BSS systems.
Experience designing large scale distributed systems in enterprise environments.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in cloud native architecture, microservices, APIs, and event driven systems.
Experience designing scalable and resilient enterprise platforms.
Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing systems and customer facing platforms.
Ability to evaluate architectural tradeoffs and align solutions with business goals.
Experience with system integration and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non technical audiences.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
Ability to influence architectural decisions across teams.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CRM and customer engagement platforms.
Experience in enterprise BSS systems within telecommunications domain.
Experience leading architecture strategy and mentoring teams.
