Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network SME Engineer with 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in routing, switching, IPv4/IPv6, and cloud networking, along with strong troubleshooting and design capabilities across complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network solutions across Campus, Data Center, and Cloud environments
• Work extensively on IPv4 and IPv6 architectures, ensuring seamless integration and migration
• Troubleshoot complex network issues involving BGP, OSPF, Multicast, and Layer 2/3 protocols
• Develop and validate communication scenarios between edge devices, IoT sensors, and core networks
• Perform network migrations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
• Lead testing, validation, and deployment of networking solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data aggregation, analytics, and connectivity solutions
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise networks

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching and Enterprise Networking
• In-depth knowledge of protocols:
• BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree Protocol, Multicast
• Hands-on experience with:
• Cisco and Arista network platforms
• IP Routing Platforms:
• ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K
• Multicast Technologies:
• IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, Anycast RP
• Overlay & VPN Technologies:
• IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN
• Networking Infrastructure:
• High-speed cabling (10G–100G), breakout cables/panels
• Core Services:
• DNS, DHCP, TACACS, Cisco ISE
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible automation
• Exposure to Cloud Networking architectures
• Experience supporting IoT device connectivity
