Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD OTC Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Sales and Distribution and end to end Order to Cash processes within SAP S4HANA environments. The role focuses on supporting logistics operations, shipping integrations, and ensuring seamless execution of order fulfillment processes.
The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP SD, strong experience with logistics and transportation integrations, and the ability to collaborate with business teams to deliver efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP SD and Order to Cash processes across the enterprise.
Manage end to end order lifecycle including order creation, fulfillment, shipping, and billing.
Support integration with third party logistics providers and transportation management systems.
Implement and manage multi carrier shipping integrations including FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
Configure shipment processing including shipment creation, cancellation, and tracking.
Support label printing and generation of shipping documents such as bills of lading and commercial invoices.
Ensure compliance with HAZMAT labeling and regulatory requirements.
Implement and support rate shopping, freight quoting, and carrier selection processes.
Configure RF process integration and track and trace capabilities within SAP delivery transactions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to logistics and shipping processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
8–10 years of experience in SAP SD and Order to Cash processes.
Experience working with SAP S4HANA environments.
Experience supporting logistics and shipping integrations in SAP.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SAP SD and OTC processes.
Knowledge of SAP S4HANA and logistics functionalities.
Experience with transportation management and third party logistics integrations.
Experience with multi carrier shipping integrations and rate management.
Knowledge of shipping processes including label generation and documentation.
Experience with HAZMAT compliance and shipping regulations.
Understanding of RF integration and delivery tracking processes.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP Transportation Management integration.
Experience with logistics optimization and process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with global shipping and compliance requirements.
