Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail L2 Application Support Engineer to support and maintain critical retail merchandising systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Retail modules, hands-on experience in production support, and the ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 Application Support for Oracle Retail applications across merchandising systems
- Monitor and support batch jobs, integrations, and data pipelines, ensuring timely resolution of failures
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including data discrepancies and system errors
- Support and maintain Oracle Retail modules such as:
- RMS (Retail Merchandising System)
- REIM (Retail Invoice Matching)
- RESA (Retail Sales Audit)
- RPM (Retail Price Management)
- RHIM / GL (Retail Integration & Finance modules)
- Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes or workarounds
- Work closely with business users, developers, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution
- Ensure smooth data flow across systems and integrations
- Participate in on-call support and rotational shifts as required
- Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge base articles
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, support processes, and operational standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of IT experience with strong focus on L2 Application Support
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Retail Modules:
- RMS, REIM, RESA, RPM, RHIM/GL
- Strong expertise in:
- SQL & PL/SQL (query writing, troubleshooting, performance tuning)
- Databricks (data processing and troubleshooting)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Experience in batch job monitoring, data validation, and integration support
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising processes
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure
- Experience with incident management and ticketing tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Retail domain / Merchandising systems
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud-based integration platforms
- Exposure to Agile or ITIL processes
