Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance (Auto, Home, Umbrella LOBs) and deep experience in Data Warehouse and Data Product initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for driving product vision, managing backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of scalable, high-quality data solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the data product strategy, including scope, users, and value proposition
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risk, and dependencies
• Write clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, and governance teams
• Ensure data governance, compliance, and security are embedded into solutions
• Define and track data quality, reliability, and observability metrics
• Lead discovery and requirement validation before scaling development efforts
• Drive Agile delivery including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management
• Ensure alignment with program goals, timelines, and governance standards
• Drive adoption, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including cost optimization

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager / Data Product Lead
• Strong domain expertise in P&C Insurance (Auto, Home, Umbrella)
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Proven experience in Data Warehouse and Data Product implementations
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake (Cloud Data Platform)
• Experience managing delivery using Rally (Agile tool)
• Understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes
