Description:
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in Data Protection and Quality Assurance to lead testing initiatives and oversee QA activities. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor QA engineers, and ensure high-quality delivery while maintaining strong compliance and data protection standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and supervise the QA team, ensuring effective testing strategies and execution.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing QA team environment.
- Drive accountability, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.
Quality Assurance & Testing Oversight
- Define and implement QA strategies aligned with data protection standards.
- Develop and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Oversee execution of functional, integration, regression, and security testing.
- Ensure test coverage meets business, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Data Protection & Compliance
- Ensure applications meet data protection and privacy standards.
- Validate controls around data security, access, encryption, and governance.
- Support audit readiness and compliance reporting activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Development, Business Analysts, Security, and Product teams.
- Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and compliance alignment.
- Provide clear reporting on QA status, risks, and defect metrics to leadership.
Process Improvement
- Establish QA best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Promote Agile QA methodologies and continuous delivery practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6–8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in Data Protection / Data Privacy testing environments.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience designing and executing comprehensive test strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance).
- Exposure to automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with security testing tools and practices.
