Functional Consultant – AHCS & GL
Location: Atlanta, GA (Local Candidates Only)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) and General Ledger (GL) modules. The ideal candidate must be local to Atlanta and possess extensive experience implementing and supporting financial processes in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
The consultant will work closely with finance and business teams to implement, configure, and optimize accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Implementation
- Implement and configure AHCS and General Ledger modules in Oracle Fusion.
- Gather and analyze business requirements for financial processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional configurations.
- Configure ledgers, chart of accounts, and accounting rules.
AHCS Configuration
- Configure Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) for financial integrations.
- Define accounting rules and mappings.
- Configure subledger accounting.
- Support data integration from source systems into AHCS.
General Ledger (GL)
- Configure General Ledger structures and setups.
- Support journal processing and financial reporting.
- Manage period close processes.
- Configure financial reporting hierarchies.
Integration & Cloud Support
- Support integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
- Work with technical teams on data integration.
- Support cloud-based financial solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Validate financial data and reconciliations.
Support & Optimization
- Provide production support and troubleshooting.
- Resolve functional issues in AHCS and GL modules.
- Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain documentation and configurations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with finance and accounting teams.
- Conduct workshops and requirement sessions.
- Provide user training and documentation.
- Communicate project updates effectively.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Financials.
- Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS).
- Hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Experience working in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting processes.
- Experience with financial integrations and data mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in UAT and functional testing.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of accounting best practices.
- Experience in enterprise financial implementations.
- Experience in data migration and reconciliation.
