Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Seismic to lead the analysis, design, and optimization of content automation solutions on the Seismic platform. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Seismic content models, automation workflows, and integrations, and will be responsible for enabling scalable and automated content operations.
This role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions and ensure efficient content lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Seismic Platform & Automation
- Design and implement automation solutions using Seismic platform capabilities.
- Work extensively with:
- Seismic LiveDocs
- Seismic LiveForms
- Seismic Document Generator Express
- Optimize Seismic content structures for scalability, governance, and reuse.
- Perform deep analysis of Seismic content models and repositories.
- Design and implement automated workflows for content creation and distribution.
- Define and document future-state Seismic architecture.
Data & Integration
- Analyze and document business and content-related data requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Understand and support Seismic integrations across enterprise systems.
- Perform data mapping and architecture design.
- Identify data quality issues and support remediation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data-related issues.
Agile & Jira Management
- Create and manage Jira stories, tasks, and defects.
- Define acceptance criteria and dependencies.
- Ensure tickets are ready for development.
- Support sprint planning and release cycles.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on backlog grooming.
Workflow & Process Optimization
- Map current-state workflows and identify automation opportunities.
- Improve content lifecycle processes.
- Streamline content creation and publishing processes.
- Design scalable automation strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
- Collaborate with:
- Product Managers
- Engineering Teams
- Business Stakeholders
- Content Teams
- Drive adoption of Seismic automation capabilities.
- Provide support for platform-related questions and issues.
Governance & Quality
- Support data governance initiatives.
- Ensure consistent data definitions and standards.
- Maintain documentation for processes and architecture.
- Support testing and validation activities.
- Assist with release readiness and operational handoff.
