Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using Java (backend) and React (frontend) technologies. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on coding experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with System Architects, Tech Leads, and Developers to design and implement technical solutions
- Analyze complex requirements and develop robust backend and frontend components
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot database-driven applications
- Prepare and maintain technical design documents, task estimates, and system documentation
- Develop and enhance applications using Java, Spring Framework, and React
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and ensure proper API design
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing (manual & automated)
- Support production, QA, and UAT environments by troubleshooting issues
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing
- Document solutions, system designs, and issue resolutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in Java Full Stack Development
- Expertise in:
- Core Java & Advanced Java Concepts
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred)
- JDBC, JPA, Hibernate
- REST API Design & Development
- React.js (Frontend Development)
- Strong knowledge of:
- SQL & Relational Databases
- UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
- Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDEA or similar IDEs
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Securities domain
- Familiarity with:
- Oracle Database
- Kafka / Message Queues
- Confluence, JIRA, or other issue tracking tools
- Experience working in Linux desktop environments
